Greetings :-)
On the keyboards I have (all M-Audio, so not a random sample...)
the channel numbers are entered using the white keys:
on the 88-note keyboard using keys treble D (62) through e~ (88),
on the 49-note keyboard using bass D (38) through treble E (62)
I'd be delighted if that was some kind of de-facto standard, so
that we would have interoperability between different keyboards.
Is that the case ?
( context: I'm writing an app which uses the midi-keyboard notes
to control the app; not yet really announced, but see:
http://www.pjb.com.au/midi/midiloop.html
)
Regards, Peter
