Hello, all. My old (but reliable) digital piano (Technics SX-PX6)
doesn't provide the subject capability. At present I presume most folks
just use a computer or iPad/iPhone with a USB/Apple connector-to-MIDI
interface and appropriate sequencing software.

Standalone sequencers that record to/play from a FDD where available
years ago from Roland and Yamaha. I would like that functionality but
provision to use a USB flash drive, SD card or CompactFlash for storage.
An example of what I seek (but at much less cost):

IOW, something with a small footprint with minimum boot-up time. Your
comments are most welcome and I appreciate your taking the time. Sincerely,

Sincerely,
I was going to tell you to track down an old Alesis MMT-8, but there was
no Flash drive/SD functionality.

Please post if you find one. I have a room of computers, but using them
for something my Commodore 64 did easily seems to be a chore.

Let us (me) know what you find.
