Greetings all. My midi2muscript is in its early versions:
http://www.pjb.com.au/midi/midi2muscript.html
It translates midi files into score form
http://www.pjb.com.au/muscript/index.html
This is a much easier problem than translating audio into score
form :-) But still, it's hard to put the barlines in the right
places without some hint (like a metronome bell) from a human.
In practice, the score will need lots of human attention to be
publishably neat; but it sounds OK.
My plan is to use it a bit like one of those old 16-track tape
recorders, with the extra feature that at every stage I get to
work on the result-so-far, in score form.
Regards, Peter
